East Midlands Development Agency - FRESA



FRESA is the “Framework For Regional Employment And Skills Action” and brings together many of the region’s top employment agencies.
 
The aim of FRESA is to provide a single regional plan for employment and skills based on a coherent and accessible labour market, including skills information and intelligence. The key focus of FRESA is on what is required to develop a strong labour market and outline the responsibilities of those agencies involved.

East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) one of nine Regional Development Agencies in England have chosen EIBS and the EasySite Content Management System for use with its latest www site, FRESA. 


The Requirement

FRESA required a system that enabled non-technical Users to create and maintain their new website.


The Solution

FRESA chose EasySite because it enables employees without any previous technical knowledge to create and edit both the structure of the site and pages within it.
 
FRESA have also invested in various EasySite plugin modules to develop the capabilities of the site, these modules include: Form Builder, which allows the creation of online forms, Hit Tracker, which assists Users in monitoring website hits and other page statistics and Mailing List, which enables Users to distribute up to date information to all registered users of the this specific module.

The site has searching capabilities, making specific pieces of information, or areas of interest easy to locate.


An unlimited number of Users are able to administer the site with content being passed through a content moderator before going live.

 

The Result

FRESA are now able to drive up to date information to their target audiences simply and easily through the implementation of EasySite CMS.
 
The new website also meets the standards set by the Government regarding compliance, as EasySite enables FRESA to attain Bobby AA compliant status.
