UK Athletics is the governing body for the sport of athletics in the United Kingdom. Formed in January 1999, the body runs a competition structure which is dedicated to raising standards in every event, every region and every age group throughout the country. It also develops programmes and initiatives including education programmes for coaches and officials, and attracting newcomers to the sport. UK Athletics leads and coordinates the sport’s commercial, marketing and internal communications activities, from sponsorship support to promoting the Great Britain & Northern Ireland Team at international events.
UK Athletics were looking for a content management system that would allow them to manage multiple websites from one version of the system. After a formal tender process UK Athletics selected EasySite™ Community because of the rich functionality of the system, the ability to create searchable directories and the membership management capabilities.
