EIBS is pleased to announce that CSL Furniture has recently chosen EasySite™ content management system for a relaunch of their website. The new site can be viewed by visiting www.csl-sofas.co.uk.
CSL Furniture is a family run firm that believes in providing exceptional quality, service and value to its customers. It is because of these high values that CSL Furniture is now one of the largest furniture retailers in the UK.
After a review of UK content management suppliers, CSL Furniture chose EasySite due to the ease of use and flexibility of the core system and module plug-ins. CSL Furniture decided on EasySite Community, which will allow them to run an unlimited amount of sites from one version of the software. EasySite will be used to power the corporate website and separate extranet sites for each separate store.
Along with the core system features some bespoke developments have been added to ensure that EasySite meets CSL Furniture’s exact requirements. A new product database module allows for the creation of a searchable database of all products available on the site. For each product site visitors are able to view an image of the item, as well as specifications such size, material and colour options.
With new enhancements to the asset manager site visitors are able to view three different sized versions of the same image. Once an image is uploaded to the asset manager, two further sized versions are automatically created from the single upload. This functionality gives site visitors the option of selecting the image size that best suits their needs, the smallest version for a snapshot of the product or the largest version to see the finer details.
CSL Furniture has an existing order tracking and customer service applications that has been integrated with EasySite to ensure a seamless service for clients to easily track their orders and delivery through the company’s site.
