9th May 2007 – EIBS Ltd, one of the UK’s principle content management providers, today announced that The Bowmer & Kirkland Group (B&K), a leading construction and development group, has designated EasySite CMS for the relaunch of their corporate website. Using EasySite B&K have designed and built a new full service site offering a wealth of information on the group’s 23 companies, services, portfolio and company profile. The new B&K site is now live and can be viewed at www.bandk.co.uk.
B&K operate across the UK offering services from main contracting on a traditional, design and build or partnering basis, to specialist sub-contracting covering most construction related disciplines. With 23 companies in the B&K Group they offer a diverse range of complementary services and skills giving their clients the opportunity to entrust their project to any one of B&K’s specialist companies or work in partnership with a number of them.
Once a decision was made to relaunch their corporate site, B&K wanted the ability to update and add site content themselves without the need for any technical ability. Working in partnership with Linney Design, EIBS were able to provide a powerful CMS solution to B&K, giving them full control over site content, page creation and page layout.
EasySite incorporates a built-in Asset Manager that allows B&K to have full control over the placement of flash files, images, links and documents around the site. This functionality has allowed them to add a large quantity of flash headers and images across the site. All files are stored within the asset manager allowing changes to be made once and automatically updated to all instances across the site.
With 23 companies in the Group, the opportunities are endless for high calibre individuals to join the B&K team. Using EasySite CMS, B&K now have a powerful tool for their HR team to publish vacancies and collect applications from prospective candidates. Vacancies are all stored within a customised database, each entry provides details on a current vacancy as well allowing interested candidates to apply directly from the website with their contact information and CV attachment.
